SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT 

Responsible for the implementation of the entity’s vision and mission through the acquisition of goods and services in a fair, equitable, transparent, competitive and cost effective manner. 

Supply Chain Management (SCM) in implementing the entity’s mandate, vision and mission is guided by the SCM Policy and other relevant and applicable legislation including but not limited to the following:

• Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No.56 of 2003)
• General Recognised Accounting Practice
• International Financial Reporting Standards
• International Accounting Standards
• National Treasury Regulations
• Preferential Procurement Act
